Description

It would be a nice feature that guake could slide not only from the top, but also sideways (screen edges) and from the bottom.

This attachment contains a (I hope) patch that should add variable resizing and positioning to Guake.

It was written by myself (Michael Zachary Jones), and Jonathan Ogilvi

It is based off of the 3.1 release, and might have some overlap with ticket 10.

I agree with the idea of changing the position of the terminal window. I do not know how to use this guake.patch but It looks great

Slide from top or bottom patch for 0.4.1

I have no experience in Python, but I hope i did well. For me it works ;)

Configured via gconf-editor only:

/apps/guake/general/window_valignment
type int
0=top or 1=bottom
