Description

Guake hides behind top (GNOME) panel. I have to hit 'enter' button several times to see the prompt.

Same here on Debian Testing. Although it works as expected on Arch and Ubuntu 10.10.

I also noticed similar behavior after installing Tilda while in it's default config but at least Tilda allows you to change the Y position of the window.

Very usefull. I wish it could be implemented in guake. I would really like guake to show up from bottom side of the screen instead of top.

Is this bug still happening? Which version of gnome you're using?

I'm in gnome 3.4 and things works perfectly, I've also tried its "Classic" version with the good old gnome-panel and things also worked. Since this ticket is quite old, I'm closing it as "works for me", but please reopen it if that happens again.
