No? I am using the "New tab" (Ctrl+Shift+t) and "Close tab" (Ctrl+Shift+w) local keyboard shortcuts all the time in 0.3.1 (actually Ubuntu package 0.3.1-3) and it works fine.

Are you sure you are not pressing a keyboard shortcut of your window manager to close the active program? Are you sure you are pressing the right key combination? And are you sure that Guake just closes all tabs (and not that it crashes - consequently everything disappears)? I would say that more details are needed.

Yes, I'm sure that I'm using local guake hotkeys (not my window manager). Guake is not crashing or something like it, it continue working, just all tabs and guake window closing.

I'm also using Ubuntu 8.10 and guake package is 0.3.1-3.

I found that this bug appears only right after some changes in hotkeys, see steps:

1. Run guake, icon in tray shown. OK. 2. Open guake (F12), console appears with one tab. OK. 3. Open new tab (ctrl+shift+t). New tab appears. OK. 4. Close active tab (ctrl+shift+w). Active tab closed, previous tab is active, console stayed opened. OK. 5. Hide guake console (F12). Console hides. OK. 6. Go to preferences -> Hotkeys, change some local hotkeys combination (any, but not open/close tab). OK. 7. Open guake (F12), console appears with one tab. OK. 8. Open new tab (ctrl+shift+t). New tab appears. OK. 9. Close active tab (ctrl+shift+w). All tabs closed, console disappears. ERROR, expected behaviour is like in step 4.

Priority changed to minor due to error appears only after changing configurations.
